Each student will have to take the learners permit test at the Texas Department of Public Safety to obtain their learner's permit. We do not give the permit test at our school. To be eligible to take the learner's permit test, the student must present these following items to the Department of Public Safety:

Proof of Residency Requirements. Two forms of Texas Residency must be shown from parent on behalf of teen. The documents supporting Texas Residency must be in the name of the parent whom shares teen students address and whom is escorting you to the D.P.S. D.P.S. will accept two of the below items as proof of residency:

NOTE: The two documents must be issued by different companies or agencies. For example, you cannot use both a water bill and electricity bill from the same company.
